ERST is a trio that performs totally improvised music.
The idea of the project comes from the sound of two electric guitars (processed through effects and looper), combined with a texture of refined and researched percussions.
The extemporaneous compositions recall desert, lunar, sometimes hallucinatory sound frames with underground melodies... a post-modern avant-garde musical plot.
Sometimes the rhythms and sounds prefer the intimate dimension of minimal nocturnal improvisations, other times the guitars are haunted by ghosts.
The musicians move between contrasting styles and influences, creating a sonic path born from diversity and cemented by a strong friendship.
ERST è un trio che esegue musica totalmente improvvisata.
L’idea del progetto nasce dal suono di due chitarre elettriche (elaborate attraverso effetti e looper), unito ad una trama di percussioni raffinate e di ricerca.
Le composizioni estemporanee richiamano fotogrammi sonori desertici, lunari, talvolta allucinati con melodie sotterranee...una trama musicale post moderna d’avanguardia.
Talvolta I ritmi e I suoni prediligono la dimensione intima di improvvisazioni minimali notturne, altre volte le chitarre sono infestate dai fantasmi.
I musicisti si muovono tra stili e influenze contrastanti, creando una via sonora nata dalla diversità e cementata da una forte amicizia.
